Godjiboué is situated in the South-West part of Ivory Coast and currently the village is not connected to the electrical grid. The current sources of energy in the village are; torches, kerosene lamps, candle lights and some solar panels.
By the end of the project 275 people will have be given the opportunity to access clean, renewable energy. This will enable them to charge their phones, have light for studies and other activities during the evening and general light up the home.
The project in Godjiboué will run over a period of 12 months and will continuously be monitored and evaluated with field visits every 3rd months.
